Bruxelles have already approved the National Strategic Frame of Reference, the “umbrella” document of the programs by means of which the structural funds will unwind it. On July 12, The European Commissary Danuta Hubner and the Prime Minister Tariceanu will sign it officially, declared for “euROfonduri” Razvan Cotovelea, the director of The Authority for the Coordination of Structural Instruments from the Ministry of Economy and Finances.
The Romanian official also said that Romania is among the first five member states of EU regarding the approval of the Strategic Frame (NSFR).
“It is the first step, the obligatory one, in the approval’s process of Operational Programs. The document’s approval by the European Committee upholds the fact that Romania has a good developing strategy”, said Razvan Cotovelea. Furthermore, he mentioned that the first four operational programs would get permission to proceed in July.
There are: the regional operational program, the environment sectorial one, the one regarding transports and technical assistance.
The Director of the Authority for the Coordination of Structural Instruments confirmed the declaration of the European official, Dirk Ahner that recently declared for “euROfonduri” that Romania would receive a 7% earnest money from the 2007 allocation.
“The valid sum for the earnest money will be of 100 million Euros, at least”, added Cotovelea. The declarations were made on the occasion of a conference regarding the European Finance, that take place in Brasov.
